We really love our life.

We are Cody and Zoë Kelley, the owners of this dog breeding labor of love we call “KelleyDoodles.” We both adore our dogs and this beautiful life we’ve been given. You can usually find us hanging out on the back porch, snuggled up to the fire, with dogs at our feet. We live near Atlanta, GA in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Cody, is the lead pastor of a local church and Zoë helps lead worship. Jesus is at the fore-front of everything we do; we owe everything to Him!

About Our Program

We breed exceptional, hypo-allergenic, calm, well-tempered puppies that often go on to become therapy or emotional support dogs. We specialize in mini goldendoodle and mini/moyen newfypoo puppies. (Also called newfiedoodle dogs.) These two breeds are a mix of either a newfoundland + poodle = newfypoo or golden retriever + poodle = goldendoodle. This is our number one goal: to create puppies that will become more than just a dog. We want to see our dogs become amazing pets, wonderful hunting dogs, therapy or emotional support dogs, or other types of “assist” dogs. We are not a kennel, and never want to be. All of our dogs reside as inside dogs in our home with us or in spectacular guardian homes full of love. When we have puppies, they are housed in our home with us! No puppy is ever raised in a kennel setting. We simply do not believe this is productive in creating the kind of puppy we are known for.

All of our puppies are exposed to ENS (early neurological stimulation) starting at 1 week old. We believe this sets them up for success. An example of ENS would be setting off the sound of a car horn or fireworks near the puppies, to help their startle reflex become lessened and get them used to loud, surprising noises. We want our dogs to fit into any family — a super quiet laid back couple or a crazy wild & loud young family. We also do puppy temperament testing and evaluations starting at 6 weeks of age. This is EXTREMELY helpful to you, the client, when choosing your puppy. These evaluations analyze a ton of different characteristics each puppy possesses. Here are only a few examples of the traits we test: assertiveness, energy level, confidence, motivation level, touch tolerance, and prey drive. You want a puppy that can hunt with you? We would advise looking at the ones with the highest prey drive. You want a puppy who LOVES to be outside, playing with your kids all day? Choose the one with the higher energy level! This pup will thrive in your home!! We do a LOT of work to ensure puppies are well tempered babies that are ready to take on the world when they leave us. Our dream in all of this is to place our puppies in homes they will fit into best. We strive to match the right puppy with the right family. And we are here for you every step along the way.

Yes we let our dogs snuggle in bed with us and yes that is Bella, our golden retriever trying to sneak a bite of my waffle!
