What Dog Breeds Do We Offer and Why?
When we started this pursuit of dog breeding, we wanted to choose dogs that catered to every type of client. Some people want calm, lazy pups that lay around all day. Others want puppies that want to run and hike with them constantly! KelleyDoodles wanted to bring different options to the table so that people could look at more than just coat type or color; they could choose what personality would be best for their new family member.
The Goldendoodle
This is Henry, the goldendoodle that started it all. He is simply our pet, not used for our breeding program, and is truly the most lovable pup ever! Henry is the dog that inspired us to become a dog breeder in Georgia in the first place. Now for more on the goldendoodle as a breed… They are truly one of the most fun, adorable pets out there. They love their people and their people love them! Goldendoodles have slightly higher energy levels than the other breeds we offer. This makes them a PERFECT option for the “active” owner! Families with young kids who love to play or couples who hike and explore typically fall in love with this breed. Goldendoodles don’t usually shed and have wavy to curly coats. We typically offer mini goldendoodles but occasionally have standard sizes! Coloring ranges from light cream to deep red and can sometimes include white, “parti,” or “tuxedo” markings! Goldendoodles are the world’s #1 ranked top doodle breed as of this moment in August 2021… everyone loves them and for good reason!
The Newfypoo (Newfiedoodle)
F1B MOYEN NEWFYPOOS Due December 4th, 2022! This is Maggie, our precious newfoundland/poodle mix, also called the newfydoodle, newfiedoodle, or newfypoo. Maggie made us fall in love with the breed. Gosh, where to begin?! The Newfypoo may just be our favorite puppy breed out there to date! Although we love our goldendoodles, there is something about the calm, sweet spirit of the newfypoo that makes us smile. These puppies are a mix between the giant Newfoundland & the standard Poodle!! Our green eyed newfy girl Magnolia (Aka Maggie) is truly the calmest, sweetest puppy we’ve ever had. Her energy level is the same as our 4 and 6 year old dogs!! We are talking EXTREMELY CHILL, easy going, and LAZY. She’s living her best life with her guardian home in Nashville, TN! We’ve even given Mags her very own kiddie pool to play in this Summer! (Don’t miss the video below.) Newfypoos or Newfiedoodles are known to be extremely smart and good with kids thanks to their gentle demeanor. They are also LARGE dogs, and by large we mean mostly giants! We do offer mini along with our standard sizes though. The minis range from 40-65 pounds fully grown, and the standards are anywhere from 80-120 pounds fully grown. With their beautiful coloring and incredible temperaments, newfypoo puppies are quickly becoming an extremely popular doodle dog breed. Also, they don’t shed or slobber like their traditional Newfoundland counterpart, so they’re great for the neat freak out there (you know who you are!)
